Read All About It! Mapping media reports from the early 20th century

News and events can be depicted in many ways depending on who's doing the reporting. At Layers of London we're interested in how events in the early 20th Century were relayed to readers through London's newspapers.

We've put together a list of "firsts", "protests", "tragic" and "hilarious" events from 1900-1940 and are looking for volunteers to research the way these were reported at the time. Volunteers are then asked to map these events onto the Layers of London site.

Volunteers will be given 3 months' access to the British Library's Newspaper Archive.
